The code of discipline in Industry which was evolved by a special committee constituted as a sequel to the deliberations at the 15th session of the tripartite Indian Labour Conference, was accepted by the Bank and its employees organisations on February 18, , after certain provisions of the code were clarified by the Union Ministry of Labour, Indian Banks Association and Exchange Banks Association. Briefly the code consists of four parts.
